Change will come

Don’t ignore the bad things that are happening, but don’t overlook the good things either. It is so easy to look at what is happening right now, throw your hands up in the air, and want to crawl under the bed and hide for a while.

Resist that urge! There are good things happening, and sometimes they are hard to find, but they are worth looking for. It is an easy time to collapse into despair and think that things will never get better; don’t do it! Yes, there are bad people out there, but there are even more confused people, trying to do the right thing. And, though it sometimes is hard to find them, there are good people out there too.

Find your tribe and join together to make whatever small change you can to make the world a better place. Do what you can do, however small you think it is. It won’t happen overnight, but change will come.
