Some things are looking up

Some things are looking up – others, not so much. But I guess that is just how life is sometimes. X, Y, and Z are going great guns; A, B, and C are going downhill; and the rest of the alphabet is just kind of hanging steady.

I guess it maybe could be better, but it could certainly be a lot worse as well. I think I am just getting old, and it is bringing a new perspective to my life. You know – things just aren’t that bad. Some things could be better; some things could be worse. Life may not be turning out to be how I expected it to be, and when everything averages out, I can live with it. And in the end, maybe that’s all I can ask for anyway. I can hope for the best, prepare for the worst, and be happy with what I get.
